Near where I was young was Will Rogers State Park, and Beach where I loved to surf. We caught tadpoles in a creek by the park watched rich folks play polo in their little costumes. We felt like Indian farmers watching the British colonials from the bushes.
Will Rogers was a leftist at the time, but I bet he would be appalled, as would JFK, at what has become of that movement.
