Letter to WSJ about Drug War

Dear Editor,

Regarding “The Once and Future Drug War,” January 22-23 Journal, the “War” has never been about helping addicts or their loved ones. It is economic development for the law enforcement industry and the cartels.

Drugs should be legal. Private companies should evaluate and certify strength and purity. Government should do its job enforcing laws consistently including those violated by drug addled people. Families hurt by addicted family members should be encouraged to press charges because enabling prolongs the problem.

Show me one addict who quit because supply was curtailed by the so-called war.

Sincerely,

Fritz Groszkruger
