Extracted a broken bolt with heat and candle wax. Had Diesel Specialties rebuild the injection pump. Built bracket and installed new style fuel filter. Timed pump with Andy’s help. Bled filter and… voila! This 60 year old tractor hasn’t run this well since we bought it. Can’t remember when. Actually, John Deere can keep their high tech garbage. If we just maintain our operational skills and mechanical common sense and have help like Diesel Specialties, (and Hansell Ag Repair) we can grow food and the strikers can go get jobs at all the businesses with the “now hiring” signs all over the place.
