54 lambs have been killed by eagles near a lake in Idaho. The cause of the change in behavior is said to be slow warm-up of Murtaugh Lake reducing the availability of fish, the usual food for the eagles.

I’d ask, how far back do the records of this lake’s temperature go? And has the temp recorder always been at the same location? And, has the measuring device ever been “upgraded” or changed? How often is the device calibrated?
