Ruth Bader Ginsburg on “taking a knee”

Heavyweight: Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg | The New Yorker
“Would I arrest them for doing it? No,” Ginsburg continued. “I think it’s dumb and disrespectful. I would have the same answer if you asked me about flag burning. I think it’s a terrible thing to do, but I wouldn’t lock a person up for doing it. I would point out how ridiculous it seems to me to do such an act.”

Lionized as a liberal Justice, there was a trace of old fashioned respectability (not that that excuses the awful anti life opinions). Maybe a message to those who are concerned and subject to a possible change of course.

One response to “Ruth Bader Ginsburg on “taking a knee”

  1. Oh, so now she can be canonized … along with George Floyd and Jacob Blake? Ginsburg held only antipathy for the Constitution, precedent in judicial rulings, and existing laws. She adjudicated based on feelings, emotion. She was a pitiful justice, certainly no “giant’ among the judiciary or within the law.
