Disregarding ridicule I might get for listening to NPR, and even recommending it! Here goes. There was an excellent interview of an author of the book with the same title as this post on Fresh Air. They didn’t mention gayness, race, or wealth inequality. I’m elated!
This college professor, who is a modern-day explorer, taught his son well to follow in his footsteps. There’s a lot of room for regrets but… moving on, it’s a great story and the last 10 minutes has a few messages many of us could use.
