Listening to the riveting coverage of the impeachment vote on NPR I heard this (I quote this newsperson):

“Adam Schiff has become a symbol of everything the Republicans don’t like about our party.”

This is from the source that repeatedly airs testimonials during fund drives of fools claiming they appreciate the unbiased reporting of NPR.

Nostalgic because it reminded me of when Al Gore was ahead in the vote count in Florida against GW Bush. Tom Brokaw said, “We’re ahead!”
