Google says Will Rogers would have turned 140 years old today. That reminded me of this cinematic treasure produced before idiots took control of the media.
As a kid I lived a little distance from Will Rogers State Park where the rich folks would play polo. I felt like a second class citizen as we spied on these people who had white table cloths next to a sports venue and even servants, and was quite comfortable in that role. Down the hill was State Beach, named after the same character, where I did most of my surfing, bought trunks at Roy’s Cabana and had a great burger there too.
