Centrist has become far left (redistributionist). Centrist ought to mean no government doling-out or confiscating of any kind. Now it means ripping off productive people in a more stealthful way. To resist is to be selfish and heartless. To agree is to be compassionate (with other people’s money). The Wall Street Journal’s acceptance of this wording is part of the problem in the same vein as “gun violence” and “hate crime.” Let’s call centrist what it is: leftist.
