  1. If you are going to include annoying ads (and for me, any and all ads are irritants and a nuisance) with your blog, then I am cancelling my subscription. I am also considering that you seldom respond to my responses, so I have the impression that I am merely whistling in the wind. I have too many others with whom I enter into discussions and no ads are involved.

    • The ads are how WordPress pays for the service. When I make a post there is a notice that an ad may appear to viewers. I don’t like the ads either, although I don’t see the ads you see on my blog.

If I don’t reply to your comments it is either because I’m not yet retired and need a really good reason to join in or because what you’ve said sums it up too well to require additional comments, and that is usually the case. I appreciate your contributions on here and sometimes think you do more than I do.

When I post something short, like a cartoon or photo or quote, it is just to maintain interest (so people will return). My friend, Larry, sent a page that had tips on increasing traffic (traffic again) on a blog and I haven’t had (taken the) time to use that either.

Once again, part of the reason I feel a little better informed than a lot of people is because of you. I read what you write with interest. I wonder often if anybody does so with my stuff. So I know how you feel when I don’t post a hear hear.
